Venue Information
(From Princes Street) The King's Theatre is in the Tollcross area of the city, on Leven Street. To walk from Princes Street, turn up Lothian Road, the main road leading south of Princes Street at the west end (the Caledonian Hilton Hotel is on the corner of Princes Stree and Lothian Road.) At the very top of Lothian Road, there is a large junction, with three forks (known as Tollcross) - take the right hand fork. The King's Theatre is on the left hand side of the main road, about a two-minute walk from the junction. The King's is approximately 15 minutes walk from the west end of Princes Street.

The nearest rail station to the King's Theatre is Haymarket, however to get to the theatre from a rail station it is easier to use Waverley Station and a local bus.
By Car
From the west end of Princes Street. The King's Theatre is in the Tollcross area of the city, on Leven Street. Turn right up Lothian Road at the Caledonian Hilton Hotel. At the very top of Lothian Road, there is a large junction, with three forks (known as Tollcross)- take the right hand fork. The King's Theatre is on the left hand side of the main road about 500m from the Tollcross junction.
By Bus
The King's Theatre is in the Tollcross are of Edinburgh. The main Lothian bus routes that serve the King's Theatre are: numbers 10, 11, 15, 15a, 16, 23, 27, 45.
Parking
The only parking available in the immediate vicinity of the King's Theatre is street parking. There's an underground car park off Riego St and there is an NCP car park about 15 minutes walk from the theatre, towards Princes Street, on Castle Terrace (24 hours, 7 days).

There are six spaces in the stalls for wheelchair users, with adjacent seats for companions. Please let us know all of your requirements at the time of booking.
Hearing Systems
The King's has a Sennheiser infrared system covering all areas of the auditorium. Headsets can be collected from the programme box in the foyer of the King's Theatre. A Sennheiser personal loop system is available for hearing aid users. Personal loops should be collected from the programme box in the foyer of the King's Theatre. Please note that at some performances, audio equipment, headsets and adapters are in high demand but we will do all we can to accommodate your needs.
Guide Dogs
Assistance Dogs are welcome and we will be pleased to look after them during the performance if required. Water bowls are available.
